It employs UVC light to kill bacteria in just five minutes. The Lumin CPAP cleaner is designed to be used in addition to routine cleaning of your CPAP supplies and attachments.

If your CPAP equipment has a temporary odour after cleaning in the Lumin CPAP Sanitizer, this is often caused by organic buildup on the items being sanitized. UV-C light works by breaking down organic matter such as skin cells, hair, oils, and residue through a process called photolysis. As these particles are broken down, they can produce a temporary odour that some users describe as metallic, burnt smell.

To minimize odour, we strongly recommend thoroughly washing your mask, tubing, or accessories with soap and water and allowing them to dry before placing them in the Lumin.
